Hello this is Erin from Thriving After Addiction and I'm here to guide you through a meditation for unconditional love and healing.

So take a comfortable seat,

Relax your shoulders,

Relax around your eyes,

Soften your jaw and allow your eyes maybe to close at this point like they're pieces of heavy silk.

Allow yourself to breathe deep as if you're breathing not just from your lungs but your entire body.

As you inhale you expand your ribs,

You expand the muscles around,

You stretch even the skin and as you exhale you let go of any pent-up tension,

Any stress,

You just let go.

Allow your breath to enter you like a massage.

Moving in waves through your entire torso,

Grounding yourself through your sit bones or if you're lying on your back,

Drawing your shoulder blades down and maintaining a nice long spine.

Breathe and notice your body.

Acknowledge how it feels today.

Maybe you're sluggish,

Maybe you're hyper,

Maybe you're anxious,

Maybe you're worried or scared.

Whatever it is it's okay.

You're here with you now,

I'm here with you.

So we're gonna breathe,

Drop in and let go of anything keeping you from fully connecting to consciousness.

Bring awareness to your heart and see if as you drop your awareness down from your head and into your body,

You could start to feel your heartbeat.

You can notice the rhythm.

Maybe you can feel pulsing.

Is pulse telling you that you're alive and well and you can even direct that pulse down into your fingertips.

So you see you have the power to direct the electromagnetic energy in your body.

So acknowledging this power that you have inside of you through stillness,

Through breath,

Through awareness,

We travel inward.

I want you to imagine witnessing yourself.

Witnessing yourself from a time when you felt lost and alone.

I want you to imagine that your presence is like a warm comforting blanket over that image of yourself lost and scared.

And imagine that you're absorbing that comfort through your pores.

Your entire body feels a wave of warmth through it.

You absorb it into your cells until you are that warmth,

You are that compassion,

You are that love.

Keep witnessing yourself and make sure that you're not in a rush to get out of this space with maybe some uncomfortable feelings.

Just allow them to flow through you,

Soften the outer edges and when the mind wants to disconnect,

Drop back into the body coming presence.

You can use your body as a vessel to clear out any of these stuck emotions,

Any of these stuck energy patterns.

I want you to imagine that you're lying in a river.

You can look on either side and you can hear the water.

You can feel it entering through the crown of your head like these little rivers are opening up in your entire body.

And as you breathe,

You take what you need,

You give what you can.

You let go without any drama,

Without any opinions or judgments,

Anything that feels heavy,

Anything that feels tight or clenching.

And you allow space for that water to open up every energy pathway inside of you and clear it out.

Wherever we have that stuck feeling,

It's just a lack of space.

So we create space,

We allow it to open.

We allow anything to flush out of us that does not serve anymore.

So with this new spaciousness and energy flowing through you,

I want you to imagine everything that you're grateful for.

Allow it to come into you,

Allow yourself to acknowledge everything in your life,

Everything about your body,

Everything about your mind,

Your experiences,

Your parents,

Loved ones,

Everything that you can bring into your mind to where you can feel that warmth of gratitude flush over you.

Keep picking out every one.

You're redirecting your mind right now.

You're allowing spaciousness and changing your vibration.

The universe loves a grateful person.

And with everything that you're grateful for,

I want you to imagine this healing energy directed inside of you each time you give thanks for everything that you love,

Everything you're grateful for.

Allow yourself to be filled up to the brim with everything that you have in your life.

Notice your vibration change in your body.

Notice how it might spread out into your arms,

Down into your fingertips,

Maybe down into your legs.

I want you to picture someone that really needs you,

That really needs some help,

Needs to know that somebody's there and that somebody cares.

Maybe it's somebody you're estranged from or maybe it's a close friend or relative.

And I want you to imagine a likeness of them and imagine taking that likeness and pulling that likeness inside of you.

So it's sitting right on top of the bowl of your pelvis.

And I want you to imagine everything that you are just grateful for.

Imagine giving it away to this person.

Everything from the characteristics that have served you so well in your life,

To your integrity,

To your ability to attract love,

Your success,

Anything that you know serves you in this life.

I want you to give it away without attachment,

Without needing a thank you.

Just sacrificing,

Letting go.

Keep digging anything that helps you that this person might benefit from.

Acknowledge it within you and give it to them.

When you feel like you've given them everything that you have that could possibly serve them,

You can take your hands right around your chest or your belly and imagine taking their likeness and putting it outside of you.

As soon as you detach from that energy,

I want you to imagine that everything that you've given away is coming back to you threefold.

It's like a vacuum effect that is happening from the crown of your head into your body.

Everything that you sacrificed,

Everything that you gave away is flooding your body.

You're getting all the love,

All the compassion,

All the gratefulness,

All the skill,

All the smarts,

All the success that you just gave away.

Filling up your body from the pelvis to the brim of your collarbones.

Notice as you keep accepting and allowing.

So we give away,

But in the same sense,

We allow ourselves to receive.

We are all connected in this very intelligent circuit board and when we give,

We create space to receive.

Know that you are worthy and keep accepting these gifts.

As you allow yourself to accept in threefold,

You're going to give out again and it will keep happening that way.

There's no space for hurt or pain,

Only love and gratitude.

The deep sense in knowing that you're connected to everyone.

Yourself,

Me,

The universe.

Breathe and allow yourself to take on this new identity of all the wonderful things about you vibrating very close to the surface,

Radiating it outward to the rest of the world.

When you're in this flowing space,

You allow love to be expressed through you.

God doesn't have a language,

So it can express through our bodies,

Through our light.

Share your gifts,

Share your talents,

Share your insights.

It doesn't separate us,

It brings us closer.

Breathe.

Just allow this new energy to flow through you.
