Body scan with positive affirmations for self-acceptance and self-love. Be okay with asserting yourself. Be okay with disappointing others. Be okay with "not" people-pleasing anymore. Take back your power. Be true to yourself. Take care of yourself. Your body is your temple. Take care of your body, and fuel it, so you can be filled with energy. Utilise your abundant energy to live in the moment. To treasure the memories you are making today right now. Be kind and gentle to yourself.

Hello and welcome to today's guided meditation.

We will begin with breathing exercises,

Leading on to a body scan,

And then finishing with positive affirmations.

And it will take roughly 15 minutes,

Including some time at the end for some quiet contemplation and reflection,

As we ponder what we want to do to set our intentions for the next day and the week ahead.

Find somewhere that's comfortable and just gently close your eyes.

We're just going to take four breaths in,

Deep breaths,

And counting from four down to zero.

So four,

Breathe in calm,

Breathe out peace.

Breathe.

Breathe in calm,

Breathe out peace.

Two.

Breathe in calm,

Breathe out peace.

One.

Breathe in calm,

Breathe out peace.

Zero.

Breathe in calm,

Breathe out peace.

And now we will transition into a short body scan.

So we have our attention on our toes.

So wiggle all our toes,

Our knees,

Up our legs,

Through our hips,

And just notice how your body feels.

From our hips,

To our back,

And to our shoulders,

Our neck,

Back of our head,

Across to our forehead,

Down our face,

To our eyes,

Our nose,

Our lips,

Our ears,

Our chin,

Down your neck,

Back to your shoulders,

Travelling down your arms until you reach your fingers.

Wiggle your fingers and wiggle your arms,

And then bring your attention back up to your shoulders.

Then take a deep breath in,

And a deep breath out.

And another deep breath in,

And a deep breath out.

Now let's move your attention from your shoulders down to your chest.

Notice your breathing,

The stillness of your breath.

Take the time now to take some deep breaths in,

And a deep breath out.

And our heart,

And down our chest,

Our stomach.

Notice how it feels if there are any tensions.

And then relaxing the whole body,

Move your shoulders up and down.

And to give yourself a little stretch.

Now we're going to have a very short guided affirmation.

And you can just repeat to yourself.

I am loved.

I am safe.

I am respected.

I am joyous.

I'm confident.

I'm healthy.

I prioritise myself so that I can spend time on those important things to improve my life and others.

I give time and attention to myself.

I spend the time on looking after my body,

Because my body is my vehicle.

My body is important to me.

My body helps me to achieve the things that I want to do.

My body helps me to take the time to help others.

My body is healthy.

It's providing me with nourishment and giving me energy to get up and go through the day.

I value my body with the fuel that I put into my body,

With what I eat and what I drink.

And my body is like a well oiled machine.

My body has limbs and muscles and my muscles are exercised and they grow stronger.

Day by day as I take care,

As I take care of my body.

I look after myself and with my healthy body,

I'm able to achieve my goals.

I'm able to help my loved ones.

I'm able to take them places.

I'm able to spend time and attention with my loved ones because I have the energy to do this.

I prioritize myself so that I can be in a position to help those people whom I hold dear and close to my heart.

Living my life as I choose,

I'm making my own choices.

I'm using my power to take the choices that are right for me at this moment in my life.

I recognize that there are times when it is not possible to please everybody.

But I know that whatever decisions I make,

They are made with the right intentions.

And that whatever decisions I make,

I make them with integrity.

And I respect myself and those around me respect me too.

And I respect my loved ones.

And I show through my actions the love that I have for those whom I hold dear.

I'm trustworthy and I'm true to myself.

I'm no longer spending my time trying to please everybody at the cost to my own health,

To my own self.

I recognize that it is time that I prioritize what I need.

I'm no longer sacrificing myself to meet other people's needs.

I'm no longer making decisions that are detrimental to me.

I live my life with full of abundance and full of joy.

And I am content and satisfied with every decision I make and everything I say.

And what I do is what I want to do.

I do not feel pressured by anybody into doing something that is not right,

That I know in my heart is not right for me.

I make wonderful memories with those people that are important to me.

I have so many treasured moments and I take the time out to enjoy the present.

I take the time out to be fully aware of where I am and what I'm doing.

My conscience is free.

I am free and I wake up in the morning and I am so enthusiastic to start the day and to get on with my life.

I'm living full of optimism,

Bubbling over with my enthusiasm and I appreciate my life and I appreciate the opportunity to be here for another day.

And I'm grateful.

And just take a few deep breaths now.

Take a few breaths in and a few breaths out.

And you can take this into your day and your night.

And as you set your intentions for the next day and the next week.

Just gently wriggle your fingers and wriggle your shoulders,

Wriggle your toes.

And in your own time you may open your eyes.
